Since 1996, the Cerano site has been the beating heart of a chemical company that
combines Italian roots with a global vision.
There are moments that mark the destiny of a company, transforming not only its physical
location but also its own vision. For Texachem International, that moment came in 1996: the
year it moved from Zibido San Giacomo to Cerano. Today, thirty years later, that plant has
become a symbol of chemical excellence capable of evolving and anticipating markets.
A choice of growth and diversification
Founded in 1987, Texachem took its first steps by specialising in solution polyurethanes for
coagulation and coating. However, it was with its arrival in Cerano in 1996 that the company
made the leap in size necessary to compete internationally.
The new headquarters not only offered wider spaces for the warehouse, but also allowed for
strategic diversification of the product portfolio. Over the past thirty years, Texachem has
expanded its technical know-how, becoming a benchmark in high-precision sectors such as:
● Flexible packaging: solvent-based and solvent-free adhesives, heat and cold seal
lacquers.
● PU resins for inks: for Flexo and Rotogravure printing.
● Filtration systems: industrial and medical.
● Technical textiles: with high-resistance solutions.
A look ahead to 2026 and beyond
Today, Texachem serves partners in over 40 countries, but remains firmly rooted in its
identity as a family business. The anniversary of the Cerano site is not a point of arrival, but
a solid foundation on which to build the chemistry of the next decade: innovation that
focuses on safety, the environment and performance.
Thirty years of history, one passion: innovating for a more efficient and responsible future.
